Scope Of Work
This project had two different areas that needed two different types of roofing solutions.
At the first area the existing roof consisted of a layer of EPDM and multiple layers of Built Up Roofing on a metal deck. The existing insulation was completely drenched due to multiple leaks over a long period of time. At this area we performed a complete tear off of both layers of existing roofing. The metal deck was inspected and we replaced as needed. Fortunately the decking was in good shape!
In the first area we installed a GAF Everguard Mechanically fastened TPO system over 3.5" of PolyISO insulation. This brought the building to code for roofing assembly R value. We project massive energy cost savings for our customer considering the they have a reflective roof with proper insulation.
The second portion of the roof also had two layers of existing roofing. This potion of the roof was dry enough to accept a silicone coating. We offered this option to our customers as a cost savings solution and they accepted.
