Scope Of Work

Rodda Electric engineered, procured and constructed an 820 kW solar system on the roof of a large freezer warehouse. The project presented a unique challenge in that the insulated roof could not have any penetrations for the solar system’s seismic anchoring. The Rodda Electric team met this challenge by engineering a custom racking and anchoring system with zero roof penetrations, satisfying the needs of both the customer and structural building code.
The completed system generates over 1,318,000 kWh of electricity per year, providing the warehouse equipment with clean energy while relieving strain on the local electrical grid.
