Scope Of Work
The design and construction of the Human Performance Wing complex totals 679,000 SF. The project consists of two major facilities and ancillary facilities. The first facility totals 200,000 SF on three stories and contains a high-bay area, industrial space, dry laboratory space, a NAMRL disorientation device, space for a dynamic flight simulator and hypobaric chambers. A second facility totals 450,000 SF on four stories and contains space for the Aerospace School of Medicine, medical clinical space, administration space, and dry and wet laboratories. The project also includes a 9,000 SF addition to an existing vivarium, a detached 1,500 SF entomology laboratory building and a remote training site.
