Scope Of Work
Phase I: GD was contracted to provide general contract services for Area J (media student room), B (partial renovation of existing building including updated restrooms), and A (basement area). Our crew was respsonsible for providing non-structural metal framing, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, and sound-absorbing wall units for the interior renovation of Jefferson High School. GD provided speciality services for Area A, by suggesting the use of a baffle system to help absorb sound. In addition, GD’s scope includes installation of hollow metal door frames and all access doors and frames. GD has mobilized a ten man self performance crew to complete the project in the allotted project schedule.
Phase II: GD was selected as subcontractor on the phase II renovation and addition of Areas C and D (renovations of existing classrooms and restrooms), E for Levels 1, 2 and 3 (new and renovated instructional spaces for the following programs: Business, Marketing and Animation labs; Construction, Architecture, Interior, and Landscape Design studios in support of Architecture & Environmental Design magnet; Criminal Justice; Video Production lab; and Food/Nutrition lab; and a GO CENTER for college and career readiness.), and Alternate G (addition for a fine arts spaces for theatre and dance / pep squad / cheerleading including lockeroom area). Phase II is approximately 12,000 sq. ft. GD’s scope included structural and light guage framing for the exterior and interior wall systems, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical ceilings, hard ceilings, and insulation.
