Scope Of Work

The Oak Grove/Bell Road Project is a complete road removal and reconstruction in Warrick County near the town of Newburgh, IN. The project is the third phase in a series of 4 projects to upgrade local travel in the Newburgh area to keep pace with the quickly growing community and infrastructure. The project improved approximately one mile of total roadway at the intersection of Bell Road and Oak Grove Road. In addition, the project upgraded the 4-way stop to a signalized intersection. The project was built in 4 phases in approximately 12 months; all while keeping access open to more than 40 residents. The project balanced over 13,000 cubic yards of excavated material in multiple phases. Along with the challenges of the earthmoving portion; over 24,000 square yards of cement subgrade stabilization was installed by phased construction to allow local access to remain uninterrupted. The project also boasts over 13,500 lineal feet of pipe ranging in diameter from 4'' to 48''; and over 115 storm and sanitary drainage structures.
