Scope Of Work
This 60,000 SF Forrester Construction project involves the King Hall restoration at the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) in Annapolis, Maryland. The historic King Hall was originally constructed in 1937, with the last major renovation taking place in 1953. King Hall is primarily used as a dining facility, serving three meals each day to over 4,300 midshipmen. This project was a major renovation, with only the exterior building shell remaining in place during the project. The facility received major utility systems and fixture upgrades to accommodate the new space. New interior finishes included solid cherry wood columns, granite panels/sills, doors, windows, epoxy and terrazzo flooring.
