Scope Of Work
Independence Brewing Co. is locally owned and operated and was originally built in 2004 with 7,500 sq ft. The owner, Amy, knew they needed to expand the operations in order to grow. In 2013, Independence Brewing partnered with Wurzel Builders as General Contractor for a 10,000 sq ft expansion.
We were able to accommodate the fermentation equipment to make sure that Independence Brewing was still able to remain operational during the expansion. We were able to incorporate plumbing and electrical expansion that allowed them to install the new fermentation equipment. Through this project Independence Brewing Co was able to quadruple their production capabilities. Today they’re an Austin favorite beer spot with indoor and outdoor seating.
