Scope Of Work
Two proposed buildings located at the intersection of Middlesex Avenue and McGrath Highway at the edge of Somerville’s Assembly Row development containing residential, hotel and retail uses. A 13-story building would contain a 180-room hotel, and a 21-story building would contain 215 apartment residences. Apartments at Assembly’s Edge would include 39 one-bedrooms, 119 two-bedrooms, 17 two-bedrooms with study spaces and 40 three-bedrooms. 43 residences would be designated affordable.
On Assembly’s Edge’s ground floor would be approximately 9,515 square feet of retail and/or restaurant space, in addition to a new urban park. A total of 293 garage parking spaces would be provided on site, both above and below grade. Construction of Assembly’s Edge is anticipated to commence in Spring 2018 and last approximately 20 months, with completion expected in mid-to-late 2020.
