project description Colorado Heights University, a 100-year-old facility, suffered water infiltration in its administrative building and chapel that required lead paint abatement and mold remediation. project challenges BluSky’s challenge on the roofing portion of this large project was removing and installing multiple roofing products nine stories high. With some steeple slopes as vertical as 24/12, BluSky worked to ensure the safety of our workers, faculty, and students and maintained every installation, building code, and OSHA requirement. The interior project presented the team with its own unique challenges; the project required BluSky to perform reconstruction services over an extended period of time on nights, weekends, holidays, and student breaks, as the university needed to keep their classrooms and faculty offices operating throughout the duration of the project. success and results BluSky successfully completed this project on time and within budget and has since been contracted for nine additional projects.
