Scope Of Work
The excavation for this elevator foundation revealed material not suitable for the bearing loads required. The project was shut down until a solution could be found. After receiving a call from the general contractor about the problem, F&SS was on site the next day and provided a proposal the same day.
As soon as access to the work area was provided, F&SS mobilized:
- Installed the required Helical Pile foundations in half a day's time.
- Allowed the project to get back on schedule.
- All shafts grouted to ensure no annulus between the pile and the surrounding soils for lateral stability.
