Scope Of Work
Located on the beautiful campus of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI, this Hobby Lobby was a ground-up construction project built over the summer of 2019, completed in September 2019.
The 52,194 square foot building was constructed using Cast-In-Place concrete for the footer, walls and steps for exit stairs.
The Challenges
The Hobby Lobby in Mount Pleasant, Michigan began with a seasonable amount of spring rain. Additional rain throughout the month of May called for problem solving among the project team to ensure the project stayed on schedule.
Problems Solved
The Snyder Construction project superintendent diligently kept the project owner, and all members of the project team, apprised of weather conditions, subcontractors on-site, work performed, photos and any other relevant information on a daily basis. The superintendent formed great relationships with the trades so they worked as a team to accomplish project goals.
