Scope Of Work
This Burlington Store at the Crossings of Hobart shopping center in Hobart, IN is 44,042 SF. Previously branded as Burlington Coat Factory, new and remodeled stores are known as Burlington Stores.
The Challenges
Construction began on the Burlington Store in Hobart in March 2020. With much of the country quarantined, commercial construction in Indiana was allowed to progress normally. As soon as Snyder obtained the building permit, subcontractors were mobilized to the job-site.
Problems Solved
Snyder Construction’s Project Superintendent made sure to keep his worksite sanitized and ensure anyone entering the site was following protocols set by the CDC, which included reporting symptoms, practicing social distancing and frequently washing hands. As protocols evolved, subcontractors were made aware of any changes and the new practices were implemented on-site. The beautiful store was in the summer of 2020, according to the original project schedule and budget.
