Mr. Delpasand has over 32 years of engineering experience with the City of Los Angeles. He has over 28 years of professional transportation engineering experience primarily with the City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation, and four years with the Bureau of Engineering. Mr. Delpasand was the Engineer in charge of reviewing Signal Design Plans and Sign and Striping plans for all Metro-Rail, Metro, and all other Governmental agencies projects prior to retiring from the city. Mr. Delpasand has reviewed and designed several thousand Traffic Engineering plans in his career with the City and working for private firms. He has experience in the public sector as part of the Public Infrastructure Delivery team for the City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation, and has gained expert knowledge of all facets of Traffic engineering and planning. Mr. Delpasand's roles and responsibilities were to ensure LADOT policies and standards were maintained, furthermore, as well as coordinating with internal LADOT departments and other City agencies as well as to represent LADOT at design, construction, and operational meetings and presentations. Mr. Delpasand is a registered professional Civil and Traffic Engineer in the state of California.
