Scope Of Work

To implement the signage program designed its architects, Advocate Health Care required a trusted partner that could execute the program from start to finish, manage costs and execute the installation without disrupting day to day operations. Advocate also required a turn-key solution that met its budget.

Icon collaborated with the architects to codify Advocate’s vision. As specified, the sign program would exceed Advocate’s budget so in response Icon drafted alternative plans that could meet Advocate’s expectations for communicating their new brand and also respond to the budget challenges. Icon value engineered the program to achieve a consistent look that met all quality and performance criteria at a lower cost. Icon’s solution to the budget constraints matched with its commitment to a rigorous 5-week implementation schedule ensured success.

Icon continues to successfully collaborate with Advocate as it transitions to their new brand. For example, Icon prototyped Advocate’s signature cross identity to garner internal approval and secured permits before proceeding with fabrication to meet the accelerated installation date.
