Scope Of Work
Construction of a new Single Story Retail White Box Shell Building in Dumfries, Virginia; of 6,224 square foot space fitted to allow for the rental of five (5) separate tenant bays and one (1) drive through provision.
The building features a pre-engineered metal structure, a brick and EIFS façade with ground face CMU accents, metal canopies, canvas awnings, cast stone sill water table and clear anodized storefronts.
John F. Heltzel AIA, Olde Red Contracting and Glacier Development worked jointly as a team from the design stage to the building completion in order to achieve a flexible, fast-paced, cost-effective build-out.
The finishes selection process was performed taken into account a necessary cohesion with the existing Building A, a fast paced construction schedule and an ease maintenance.
