Scope Of Work
Playing host (and a legendary round of golf) got a whole lot easier when the Pavillion opened its doors earlier this year at Indian Wells Golf Resort. Upon its debut, the stunning 6,000 s.f. multiuse canopy style Pavillion quickly became the most sought-after reception and private events venue in the Coachella Valley. Boasting incomparable views of the Santa Rosas and lush fairway vistas, the Pavillion’s 270º floor-to-ceiling glass walls provide guests with an open air environment that is able to adapt quickly to changing weather or a cool evening breeze. The indoor reception capacity of 400 seated guests expands to a whopping 700 people when outdoor seating is included. A full-service back of house provides ample space for even the most elaborate catering demands.
Prior to the massive Stadium 2 and Site Expansion Project, this tensile structure was our most intriguing project to date at the picturesque Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the BNP Paribas Open. Watkins Landmark Construction, working from a Bluemotif Architecture concept and Structurflex design, built this iconic structure to provide much-needed shade, as well as to serve as a focal point for the restaurant and bar areas on the north side of the tennis garden.
