Scope Of Work

SeDoMoCha was a design/build project. The work entailed a new elementary school to house 350 students, grades K through 4. Rather than opening on long halls, the classrooms cluster around forum spaces, each with playful structures that function as a setting for one-on-one teaching instruction or small group activities. 
The project also included: 
- a "school within a school" addition to the middle school with separate dining, physical education, and classroom spaces 
- a new joint-media center with a separate library 
- new administration work spaces 
- a new parking lot entry, parking, and circulation areas that improved efficiency and safety for buses, walkers, cars, and playground attendees.
