Scope Of Work
We were called by Flynn Southwest (North America's leading building envelope trade contractor) to take a look at a building that had worn soffit material around the perimeter of the building. One major challenge was the presence of the electrical power drop feeding the building that went right through the soffit structure. Since the power company was in charge of the line (which ran directly to the power pole), we immediately called Xcel to advise as far as wrapping or de-energizing the charged electrical line. After further investigation, it was determined that the best way not to not disturb tenants would be to do it on a Saturday morning before any tenants arrived. It cost us extra to pay for the OT incurred to Xcel employees for working on a Saturday, but because of proper planning, the patrons did not even know we were there. We won the client over for future work.
