Scope Of Work

Scope:

Install Dewatering Plug in 20" Stormwater drain to allow internal inspection of line stand by and remove plug once inspection was complete.

Initial inspection of the line on arrival showed that the line we were to plug had somehow refilled with stone. Our suspicion was that the line had sustained severe internal damage  and that the stone blocking the line had come from inside  and not from the shore line.

We suggested after approximately 3 hours of attempts to clear the line externally that GL TVSeal attempt to re flush the line from inside.  

Once this task was completed it became evident that our suspicions were correct our second dive showed that approximately 1/2 tone of stone had exited and completely encased the formerly partially exposed line. We consulted with the client and advised them to have the city dig our and remove the damaged line - that being the only feasible and cost appropriate action. 

They expressed their appreciation for our quick and accurate response and assessment and we concluded our operation.

Though all operations do not conclude to the clients expectation; we make them aware of unknowns that could have not been identified without our presence.
