Scope Of Work
Macy’s Parkchester encompasses 129 acres of retail stores, restaurants, professional offices and residential apartment buildings which are home to over 43,000 residents.
This project consisted of renovating all mechanical systems within Macy’s retail space, in addition to multiple retail spaces along Metropolitian Ave. a new twelve (12) section multi stack water cooled chiller and an Evapco two (2) cell cooling tower was installed. In addition, thirteen (13) custom manufactured Carrier air handling units and associated BMS controls were installed in mechanical rooms throughout the building. This installation required after hours work shifts to allow the store to operate undisturbed during normal working hours.
The adjacent retail spaces were conditioned with Skye Mark indoor air-cooled Packaged Units including custom manufactured Condenser air ductwork and louvers. ($2,500,000.00).
