Our Story
Viking Brothers Incorporated was founded in 1988 in North Aurora, Illinois by two brothers-Kevin and Craig Melby. Both had varying credentials: Kevin with a long haul, multi state background, and Craig with experience in military logistics. Viking Brothers got its start having hands in the construction of the I-355 north-south tollway, in 1990. The company soon after moved into the Kane-Dupage area, where the majority of its business is performed today. From two old Mack trucks to the operation today are miles apart. We haul upwards of 500,000 tons of aggregate annually, along with onsite construction projects.
