Scope Of Work
In 2007 Beth Sholom Synagogue was designated a National Historic Landmark by the National Parks Service and the Secretary of the Interior. This distinction makes it one of four synagogues nationwide to be considered a national treasure.
This synagogue was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the only synagogue ever designed by him, and the last project that he completed before his death. Wright's design, already rich in symbolism, was also guided by the advice of Rabbi Mortimer J. Cohen, who sought to embody significant Jewish values.
Jamison Masonry Restoration was hired to recaulk the metal to glass panels on the entire roof, as well as coat and waterproof the entrance steps and lower masonry walls.
