Tate has 32 years construction industry knowledge in Building and Civil Engineering disciplines. His primary role involves short and long-term strategic operational planning, business development, creating and sustaining shareholder value while leading Metropolis and its team towards sustainable growth.
Tate, more recently served as Director of Estimating for the construction division at FutureNet Group, achieving $100 M in defense projects across the globe. As former CEO at Fab-Ra-Homes, he was responsible for positioning as a developer of low-income and emergency disaster housing initiatives in hurricane-prone regions across the United States. During the economic crisis commencing 2007, he served as Chief Operations Officer, North America, for Financial Services Underwriter, The Home Source Group and Software Developer Home Soft, now "Oh, I Get You!" at www.situhome.co Since the early 1980’s, Tate has held numerous field and management roles within the Engineering, Construction, Transportation, Franchising, Technology Development and Financial Services markets.
Tate attended Lawrence Technological University, where he broadened his education in Civil Engineering with concentrations in Construction Management and Urban Planning. He has been certified as a Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA); Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist; Construction Documents Technologist (CDT), and; LEED Specialist in Building Design & Construction. He is a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) and current member of the National Society of Professional Estimators (NSPE). Under the US Army Corps of Engineers, Tate has served as a Certified Construction Assurance/Quality Manager (CQM) and Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) for the Defense Department, and; more recently has been recognized as a Certified Franchise Executive by the (ICFE), Australia.
