Scope Of Work
Guthrie Theatre is a $295 million multipurpose theatrical building located on the shore of the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Designed by internationally-renowned French architect Jean Nouvel the Guthrie Theatre features a Broadway theater along with several smaller venues and a symphony hall.
Jones Sign Company’s portion of the project consisted of LED towers that rise from the top of the structure & are visible throughout the metro area, mammoth pedestrian-level billboards in the entry area, cold cathode bulb-lit walls for the pedestrian ramp, the cantilevered lobby known as the “Endless Bridge” out over the Mississippi River (the signature feature of the Guthrie) , the bar area, & the backlit Actor’s Portrait Gallery. Jones Sign Company also handled the perforated stainless screen fascia of the adjoining parking structure.
