Scope Of Work
Jones Sign Company partnered with the City of Chicago and Interstate/JCDecaux -the largest outdoor advertising corporation in the world- on the Chicago Digital Network. Chicago Digital Network was spearheaded by Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s team to serve community needs by providing high visibility advertising opportunities – monetizing land already owned by Chicago Taxpayers. Chicago Digital Network is a revenue-generating channel with the purpose of reducing the tax burden on the Chicago Citizenry.
Jones Sign Company fabricated and installed 60 ‘Tablets for the Sky’ at 35 strategic locations across Chicago. Each of the 60 digital screens are 20 feet tall and 60 feet across!
As lead manufacturer of this Jones Sign Company contributed over 400,000 man hours to this project. This included 250,000 fabrication hours & 187,000 installation hours from installation crews.
