Scope Of Work
Crossland was contracted to build a 90,000SF distribution/warehouse facility, as well as a 7,000 square-foot maintenance building for Frito Lay in Topeka, Kansas. Crossland then completed the $4.2M contract for Phase II for Frito Lay which included an 11,000 square-foot addition and a 39,000 square-foot, two-story KD warehouse packing addition. The building also included skylights, EPDM roof, 25 dock openings with pits/levelers, and an interior racking with small rolling conveyor system for sorting. In addition, the Crossland team relocated the entire employee parking for the existing plant from one side of the building to the other. Over 30,277 tons of recycled materials were used for this project making it a LEED Silver Certified project.
