Scope Of Work
The purpose of this project was to evaluate drinking water treatment processes that will enhance the removal of taste and odor compounds, microtoxins and viruses at the Clinton and Kaw Water Treatment Plants. Crossland Heavy Contractors performed the construction of ferric chloride chemical building and storage area, the removal of existing lime equipment, and the construction of new lime storage and feed system. Crossland Heavy also installed carbon dioxide feed and storage equipment as well as performed the installation of rapid mix equipment and tube settlers. Miscellaneous painting and basin repairs we also provided.
