A semi-intensive roof garden was designed to dramatically enhance common space at a Texas office complex. Partnered with Carlisle SynTec Systems, one of the nation’s top waterproofing manufacturers, Weston delivers the GreenGrid system as a complete package with single-source warranty coverage, which gives building owners additional comfort and confidence in the installation and warranty protections for their green roof. A custom plant mix was prepared to meet both the aesthetic goals of the project and the significant challenges associated with the Gulf Coast climate. To help meet the project schedule, Weston grew the modules over winter months inside heated greenhouses in Louisiana to cultivate the instant green to the client’s satisfaction.
