JJ Levenske is a seasoned construction executive with over 25 years of experience in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. From pre-construction services to complex quality controls to project close-outs, he brings a commitment to delivering the highest levels of professionalism and customer service. J.J.’s dedication to construction has allowed him to become an industry expert which he aims to share with customers and subcontractors alike. J.J. does not believe in mediocrity and strives to see the “end at the beginning” for each project, effectuating a timely and on budget approach for the entire team and the client.
Early on in his career, J.J. worked as a cost engineer conducting feasibility estimates, strategic capital estimates, cost planning, and analysis of value engineering for the technology, petrochemical, and food industries. He went on to develop and implement a variety of systems for estimating, scheduling, resource management, and cost tracking while holding Project Manager and Senior Management Positions. During his tenure, JJ has been involved in just under $1 billion worth of construction services. His in-the-field experience is coupled with a strong managerial acumen, allowing for seamless conversations about Bleuwave’s unique value-added solutions.
JJ is a consummate learner and applies those efforts towards the never-ending expectations that potential clients bring to Bleuwave. JJ attained a Bachelor of Science – Construction Management degree from the University of Wisconsin – STOUT and took coursework towards an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. JJ and Kelli are proud parents of two boys and explore the outdoors every chance they get.
With a 23-year track record leading companies in the private equity, investment banking, construction, facilities maintenance, and management consulting sectors, Jerry has vast experience implementing strategies that generate lasting value. He has acquired or operated a total of 12 companies with revenues exceeding $1.5 billion, generating over a five-times return on invested capital for investors.
Jerry is a co-founder of Bleuwave in charge of the company’s vision, strategy, and day-to-day operations. He works closely with clients seeking capital for their commercial real estate and operational needs, subsequently serving as a board of director for many of these businesses. Jerry’s leadership style focuses on actions over words putting in place a culture of ownership, transparency, communication, and grit.
Prior to Bleuwave, Jerry founded Adlocis Partners, a private equity business that acquired companies with superior leadership teams. Adlocis Partners differentiated itself from the traditional private equity model by providing resources to senior management to continue to elevate their leadership skills. Adlocis Partners recognized that leaders create value, not capital by itself.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Jerry was the head of private equity at The Pivotal Group, a family office in Phoenix, AZ. While at The Pivotal Group, he successfully developed and led a value-oriented investment strategy. The focal point of the approach was to acquire businesses with unique attributes that drove sustainable strategies and superior organic growth.
Earlier on in his career Jerry was a partner at Najafi Companies, a Phoenix-based private equity firm, executed merger and acquisition transactions at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch, and advised management teams while at The Boston Consulting Group.
Jerry currently serves on the board of directors of Longboard Asset Management and previously was on the boards of directors of Network Solutions, Global Capacity, Direct Brands (owner of the Columbia House, Book-of-the-Month, and BMG Music club businesses), Innovative Brands, Trend Homes, NxTV, Pan Am Education, among others.
Jerry is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The Pence’s have two kids ages 11 and 10 and will do anything to spend time in Costa Rica.
Chris Domanico comes from a unique background in construction management performed with an entrepreneurial spirit and creative approach. He has worked in both the owner’s representation and contractor roles and brings 18 years of construction experience in the commercial, restaurant, mixed-use, office, and hospitality sector.
He grew up in South Florida and graduated from the University of Florida where his mentor oversaw the campus’ physical plant of over 2,000 acres. The creativity, mechanical aptitude, and psychology of construction was a perfect match for Chris’ mind & spirit. That spirit brought him to the West Coast where he has lived in California and Arizona.
He has worked with some of the biggest & brightest restaurant groups in the country. Building and renovating restaurants and nightclubs along Hollywood’s Sunset Strip; Building, operating, and owning his own beach side cafe in Manhattan Beach, CA; developed a renowned national remodel program for one of the largest franchises in the restaurant industry; and rolled out a multi-unit portfolio for a James Beard nominated restauranteur. Regardless of the size and scope, Chris has always shown to be a proven leader & communicator that consistently results in success.

Chris is a devoted husband to his wife Jacqueline and a proud father of three little kids (1, 3, & 5). He enjoys the outdoors, mowing the grass, coaching his kids’ soccer team, traveling, and just being a husband & dad!
With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Scott Knoblauch has developed a reputation as someone who forges collaboration with owners, design teams, and subcontractors. His leadership in executing projects, overseeing operations, and in strategic planning has allowed Scott to manage a diversified portfolio of projects. Scott puts this depth of experience to work to assist clients and teams better understand solutions to fulfill their construction needs.
He has held multiple roles throughout his career which has given Scott exposure to provide him with the ability to understand the project from concept to closeout. Scott joined Schoolbuilder in 2017. In addition to his current Schoolbuilder responsibilities, Scott served as a Superintendent or Project Manager for several Construction Companies in the Midwest.
By staying adaptable to fast-changing business cultures and climates, Suzanne develops, implements and tracks marketing strategies and efforts. Her insatiable curiosity, creativity and desire to solve problems helps move the efforts of Bleuwave forward. Suzanne leads the marketing communications strategy for Bleuwave. In this role she is responsible for collaboration with senior leadership for the strategic evolution of the Bleuwave brand including internal communications, digital strategy and presence, public relations, and partnerships.
Suzanne is a graduate of Brigham Young University and has a deep love and appreciation of education. She has over twenty-two years of professional experiences ranging from aerospace to real estate. With such a diverse background Suzanne is well equipped to help Bleuwave explore emerging platforms and innovate new forms of creativity. Suzanne’s most recent experience was working for Starwood Custom Homes as the Director of Marketing where her ingenuity and love of creative detail helped increase the organizations market presence.
