Scope Of Work
The Fiber Deep project consists of overlashing coax & fiber optic cables, as well as underground rod/rope/pull & conduit replacement as needed. There is some MDU maintenance work to be performed on an as needed basis.
There is approximately 1300 miles of retro coax splicing in 2017, as well as fiber splicing, testing & documentation.
There is approximately 1300 miles of aerial construction for 2017.
The mix of coax/fiber overlash is running at 50/50 ratio.
All materials, police details & maps will be provided to the contractors.
The work is located in and around the Philadelphia suburban area of Bucks & Montgomery Counties. The overall project is currently planned for 7-10 years commencing as of June 2016
