The Chess Lofts building has a historic past: built in 1926, Chicago- based recording studio Chess Records introduced the world to the music of Etta James, Howlin’ Wolf, and many more. The building was converted to lofts in 2007, offering 119 units which highlight the perfect balance of original industrial details and modern amenities.
