Scope Of Work
Construction of a new joint use gymnasium and locker room facility. New gymnasium provides state of the art Haro wood flooring system and Porter gym equipment for the facility that is shared between the School District and the City of Buena Park. There are locker room, shower, and restroom facilities for the school on one end of the building and restrooms and offices for City use on the other end. The design incorporated a 1,500-cubic yard foundation mat-slab into the project to combat the historically high ground water on site. One piece metal roofing panels were fabricated on site to meet the proper curve of the structure and provide only the one required seismic joint to minimize potential for roof leaks in the future.
