Little Patuxent Water Reclamation Plant
When we recently created pre-construction still and video photo documentation of the Little Patuxent Water Reclamation project for Clark Construction Group, it must be the “geek” in me, but I find the behind-the-scenes operation of almost anything to be fascinating. I had never been inside a Biosolids treatment plant, but I was expecting a more “odiforous” experience. That was not to be!
Clark Construciton Group is innovating on a grand scale with this biosolids treatment plant. The finished renovation of the water reclamation plant will be a design unique to any other in the United States. A closed loop system of methane gas capture will generate the energy needed to run operations while even the final dusty product will be used by farmers as fertilizer. A self sufficient system that puts a robust spin to the term “Reuse Reduce Recycle”! Kudos to Clark Construction Group for being a leader in the field of water reclamation and treatment.
