Scope Of Work
Wolverine Building Group was selected by Charity USA to complete a substantial metal building warehouse addition at their facility in Allendale, Michigan. The company is an online reseller with global distribution. A portion of every sale is donated to charity, hence the name “Charity USA.”
The project involved the self-performed steel erection team at Wolverine to construct a 112,500-square-foot pre-engineered steel building with 48-foot ceilings. The warehouse was designed per FF80 & FL65 floor flatness requirements to allow their automatic turret picking system to work flawlessly. The warehouse also has 6-foot aisle spacing and 40-foot-tall racks to accommodate the movement of product in and out of the facility.
