Scope Of Work
This was an Emergency project, for many years of neglect on plant maintenance on the only intake for fresh water for the city,
This project consisted of us supplying them fresh water during the cleaning of there intake, so we setup a separate system to supply them water during the cleaning process
This intake was so full of debris the design of 3.5 MGD was reduced to only 1 MGD, This creating a life safety issue ware the were unable to supply the city with water during a fire.
After cleaning and working closely with the WDNR, we were able to bring the plant back to original design of 3.5 MGD +. The debris from the pipe was placed back into the Lake ware it cam from, This debris contained Zebra Muscles, sticks, leaves, sand and mud, the rotting debris during cleaning even showed in the video all the Methane Gas bubbles / trapped.
On this project we made on site. a new intake riser also due the the age and deterioration of the old wooden crib. Northern Divers USA has the ability to work and fabricate most anything needed on site. This is a huge factor for water plant due to time and the ability to not have to shut down.
Methane is a bad source for all types of bactria and was all totally removed.
