Scope Of Work
Scope of work: Herring was hired to abandon an old sewage pump station and install a larger pump station. This was done to accommodate higher usage needs due to expansion of complex when additional buildings were built in the back section of the complex.
Challenges: Hit an 8" water line that no one was aware of. We repaired it within 90 minutes of damage. All businesses were happy about the swift repair, which restored their water service within only a couple of hours. We had a challenge with keeping the shoring upright - hole was 25' deep, so moving the dirt was a challenge due to underground water. Everything had to be done quickly to keep up with water, as well as back filling with gravel.
Unique solutions: We relocated the new pump station and lined up all the pre-engineered piping to do adequate hook ups to accommodate the water line location.
Client reaction to finished work: Client was very happy and impressed with our professionalism - getting things accomplished within estimated timeline. Overall, very happy with work.
