Brigham City, UT
Status:

Scope Of Work

With its dedication on September 23, 2012, the Brigham City Utah Temple became the 14th temple in Utah, serving more than 40,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in northern Utah and the Malad, Idaho area. The 36,000-square foot temple is situated directly across the street from the historic Brigham City tabernacle and sits atop a 3.1 acre parcel of land known as Central Square, a place where Central Elementary School stood for decades.

Like other Church temples, the Brigham City Temple is a beautiful building designed to complement the local community while representing the building’s sacred purpose. The interior is comprised of numerous smaller rooms designed to accommodate functions such as marriages, baptisms, and small gatherings, as well as personal reflection and contemplation. All interior and exterior finishes are of the highest quality materials and workmanship. The meticulous grounds complemented by water features, landscaping, walks, and flower gardens are created and maintained with the ideals of bringing a sense of peace and tranquility to those who enjoy them and to the surrounding community.

The temple’s exterior consists of precast concrete limestone and is showcased by a gold-leafed statue of the angel Moroni sitting atop the east spire. An underground parking structure offers 130 parking stalls accompanied by another 94 surface parking stalls to provide ample space for visitors and patrons.
