With 8 to 10 years of experience under their respective belts, Kathy & Jim Yaresh started Grade A Construction in 1982 and incorporated in 1983. They started with a crew of five drywallers and added skilled labor every year since.
Jim and Kathy moved out of the home office in 1990 to a 4,500 square foot southwest Waukesha building. The company added an insulation division the same year.
In 1995 Grade A Construction added complete paint and stain services.
Grade A built a 10,500 square foot facility in Delafield, Wisconsin, in 1998. Grade A added 6,500 square feet to their office and warehouse in 2003.
Grade A Construction becomes a Woman-Owned business in 2012
Kathy Yaresh became the majority owner and executive partner in 2012, making the firm a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise.
Grade A Construction is fully insured.
Grade A Construction services Wisconsin builders and developers from the state line on the south; Janesville to Madison to Wisconsin Dells on the West; the lower Fox Valley and Grafton, Port Washington and Saukville on the North and Lake Michigan on the east. Of course the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha areas have been a mainstay.
Grade A takes pride in documented and proven standards of performance that exceed the capabilities of virtually all competitors. These standards are implemented only as the result of having the most experienced and disciplined staff in Southeastern Wisconsin.
