Scope Of Work

The work included earthwork, storm drainage, water and sewer utilities, minor demolition, clearing, bio retention ponds, etc.  The US army corps of engineers has been extremely pleased with our work and have said they will be using our work as a reference to show other site contractors on how they would like to see work completed.  Currently we are assisting with back fill of retaining walls adjacent to the building, before finalizing changes to the bio retention ponds and that will complete this project.

1-11-18 - Now that the building and adjacent site improvements such as the installation of curbs, etc., Mach 1 will be heading back to this project in the near future to perform final grading, curb backfill and adjustments to the bio retention pond.  The Owner is in the process of deciding on which options they would like to move forward with and Mach 1 will be ready to jump on the task!  Recently we assisted the General Contractor with some as-built information that is being used to develop phase 2 of the Consolidated Mission Complex building and Mach 1 hopes to be a part of another successful venture with the GC and US Army Corps of Engineers!

2-27-18 - Our crews are getting ready to re-mobilize to Robins Air Force Base within the next few weeks to pick up start working on some additional scopes of work such as new parking lots, demolition of ornamental fences, etc. in order to expand on the great work already completed.  With a little luck, we can roll right into phase 2 of this project with Poettker Construction, who has been a great partner in making this project a success for everyone!  Check back soon for more updates!

4-16-18 - Mach 1 has been steadily working towards completing several options that the Owner elected to perform.  Crews have been clearing trees and removing old pavements, etc. to prep for new parking areas and are working to complete the bio-retention pond.  Now that the sun is out more, Mach 1 is speeding up fast!

5-24-18 - Mach 1 is sprinting toward the finish line!  Crews have been working to complete several bid options for additional clearing, grading for new parking lots, etc. and we are very near to being wrapped up.  The only thing that will remain is the last bit of work within the bio retention ponds, which can only be done at the end of the overall project schedule so that the soil media stays new as long as possible.  Phase 2 of this project is in the final design stages and hopefully Mach 1 will be coming back in the near future to showcase our talents as one of the premier up and coming site developers in the Southeast!  Check back soon for more updates.

9-13-18 - No work has been performed lately, except to assist our Client with getting some areas ready for additional curb.  Hopefully within the next few weeks we may be able to finish the bio retention ponds but until the building, curb and pavements are complete, we are in a holding pattern for the moment.  Check back soon for more updates!

7-9-19 - Mach 1 completed its scope of work back in February however as we were working on base on another project, we were asked to help out with a few items here and there to faciliate the final completion of the project.  Poettker Construction is the General Contractor and as a valued customer, we provided assistance with removing mock up walls, general clean up, etc., though it was not our responsibility.  We all want the same thing and that's to do a great job and be there when help is needed; Mach 1 is there for you when you need us!  We hope to secure phase 2 of this project, which is coming out for bid in the coming months.  Understanding that nothing is guaranteed, we hope to put out another highly competitive bid and continue on with furthering our reputation as a "go-to" site contractor.  Thank you to Poettker Construction for allowing us the opportunity to work with them on this project!
