Scope Of Work

July 9, 2019 - Mach 1 is pleased to announce another exciting project!  We picked up the parking lot addition at the Marshall's Distribution Center in the newly formed city of Stonecrest back in March 2019 and as of July 9th, we are nearing the end of the project.  The work included the mass excavation of approximately 45,000 CY of earthen material, storm drains, sanitary sewer lines, etc. for a new overflow parking lot for the tractor trailer loads of goods to be distributed across the southeast.  Mach 1 worked closely with Catamount Constructors as well as the Owner to allow for the continuous flow of trucks the warehouse receives and ships out each daily.  This presented us with a challenge of not impeding on the daily activities of the warehouse but we managed it with flying colors.  Other challenges included weather (two 5''+ rain events in two months,) plan changes, partially weathered rock, etc. but its nothing new for us as we have come to expect the unexpected.  Catamount is a great contractor to work with and we hope to continue to build our relationship with them!  Check back soon for more updates.
