Scope Of Work

July 13, 2018 - Mach 1 has been awarded the site work for this project, which is scheduled to start in August 2018.  Work includes clearing, grading, erosion control, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water, etc.  The Owner is known for their high standards f work and what they expect on their projects and Mach 1 will deliver!  Check back soon for more updates.

September 13, 2018 - Mach 1 started clearing in early August and utilized Adams Clearing as its clearing subcontractor.  Adams and their forces did not disappoint and were able to get the site completely logged, raked and hauled off all debris in a matter of 2 weeks' time.  Mach 1 followed right behind to start moving in equipment, materials, etc. and have started work on the mass grading and drainage portion of the project.  So far, everyone has been extremely pleased with progress and we've already put one building pad to grade and as soon as its proof rolled, Kevin Price Construction can start their underground and slab work.  Mach 1 is quickly cutting the site to grade and soon we will have the second building pad for the fire station ready for proof roll and then its off to finish the rest of the drainage, cut out for the concrete retaining wall and hopefully start utility work very soon.  Check back soon for more updates!

October 11, 2018 - Well its been a good few weeks for us at Mach 1 and the crew working at the new fire station in Athens!  The mass grading is complete, both building pads have been turned over, all main drainage on site is in and the roof drains to the fire station are nearly complete.  Next week Mach 1 will be starting the sanitary sewer and once completed, the GC will be able to start moving forward with curb and aggregate base for the entry road and large parking area, all ahead of schedule!  Athens-Clarke County is one of the more demanding municipalities within which to work as they expect nothing less than the best product and we have shown them on a regular basis that only the best product will do.  Check back soon for more updates!

July 9, 2019 - Mach 1 is in the final stages of this project and are working closely with the Contractor, Kevin Price Construction, to ensure we cross the finish line together!  Currently we are screening top soil with our Powerscreen 600 and are spreading the material in islands and landscaped areas.  Once the site is stabilized, the last remaining item to complete is the installation of a pond under drain in the main detention pond and we can call it complete on yet another great project by Mach 1 Site Development, LLC!  Kevin Price Construction has been a great Contractor to work with and would highly recommend them.
