Scope Of Work
This installation called for 4 new 65" HDTVs to be installed in a renovated cafeteria area of a school. The requirements are as follows:
- Install four 65" HDTVs on articulating mounts
- Provide and Install a new 6000 lumens laser HD projector
- Provide and Install a video switching system to switch between AppleTV and a cable TV feed
- Provide and Install a video distribution system to send video to all of the locations over Cat-6 cabling
The installation consisted of a new Atlona 8 way video distribution system with 5 Atlona HDBaseT receivers at each of the TV and projector locations. The TVs were connected via Cat-6 cabling and connected directly to the video distribution system. An HD video switcher with wireless remote control switches between the AppleTV unit and a digital cable box.
This system is capable of up to 4K video signals and is ready for future devices and technologies, not to mention a 10 year warranty on the Atlona products.
