Scope Of Work

The scope of this project was to design, supply, and install multiple video systems for a church. The existing church was to be renovated and would include a large addition which would become a new sanctuary. Additional spaces included meeting / collaboration spaces, a new Youth worship area complete with a stage and gaming area, multiple offices, a Cafe, a daycare area with classrooms, reception areas, nursery / cry rooms adn a children's worship space. The installation was done in several phases adn AV wiring would be done as the areas progressed. Some of the clients requests were as follows:

• Provide and install 3 large projectors in the new sanctuary
• Provide and install 2 large projection screens 16 feet wide by 9 feet high. 
• Center screen area to be 27' wide by 15' high
• Provide and install 3 large stage display monitors in the sanctuary
• Provide and install a complete and state-of-the-art video production suite 
• Provide a "Sanctuary Feed" of cameras throughout the entire facility (over 30 rooms and TVs)
• Provide a digital signage feed throughout the facility
• Provide a 133" front or rear projection screen system in the Youth worship area with additional 75" HDTV as stage display
• Provide broadcast quality cameras for the sanctuary area
• Provide video switching equipment for a meeting room with multiple inputs
• Provide and install digital menus for the cafe areas
• Provide and install over 30 TVs throughout the facility

System design started in 2016 with multiple meetings to discuss the requirements and capabilities of the video system. Once construction began we moved from area to area pre-wiring where we could and when we could. There were many delays in construction, and since the "head-end" of the system was in the new sanctuary (the last area to be finished) we basically had to wire backwards finishing the electronics in each area as the construction was finished. We finished the project in September of 2019 with all systems working as designed.
