Scope Of Work
Ground Kontrol is an iconic bar and arcade in Portland’s Old Town/ Chinatown. The renovation expanded the footprint by the adjacent tenant suite that was added with a new connecting passageway through a load-bearing masonry wall. The existing URM building provided some challenges when adding new full-height interior pocket doors, a completely custom bar with built-in seating, and a new HVAC system that was integrated into the design. This tenant improvement project was completed under the facilities permit in an occupied building.
