Scope Of Work
Garlington Health Center is a 24,000 SF project neighboring Garlington Place Apartments, both on a shared 1.5-acre site in the King neighborhood of NE Portland. With the focus of whole healthcare, Cascadia Behavioral Health’s new center provides integrated medical and mental healthcare, in addition to preventative care, healthy lifestyle classes, and wellness resources. On-site amenities for both staff and patients include a large open kitchen, food pantry, exercise room, gathering space, and a community garden. Both developments are named in honor of the late Rev. Dr. John W. Garlington, Jr., a prominent leader, and advocate for the African American community in Portland.
