Second Tier
Prepare estimates for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work. Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and engineer professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. Hands on layout, metal stud framing, drywall install, hollow metal frames install, acoustical ceiling and tile. Conduct weekly safety meetings…Zero on-site accidents. Inspect project to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations. Apply for and obtain all necessary permits or licenses. Direct and supervise an eight man crew at the construction site. Monitor tool inventory.
