Scope Of Work

We were contracted to restore the stone on the Renaissance Fountain in the Clemons Gardens. The Clemons Gardens were built in the 1930's by the WPA. The Renaissance Fountain with Cranes, features a replica of a sculpture of Hebe, cupbearer to the gods. It is one of the tallest outdoor fountains in Minnesota, Unfortunately the granite facade was greatly damage over the years by Minnesota winters and water damage caused by improper sealing. The original pool surface was faced with granite slabs. We resolved the water damage issues and restored the granite to its original state. We also applied our Stone Sentry Sealer to prevent future damage as well as mineral deposit build up on the stone. For outdoor and commercial applications, we recommend signing up for a maintenance plan with us. This will ensure that we can spot issues early and perform routine maintenance to ensure a long life for the stone even under harsh conditions.
