Scope Of Work

California Baptist University is a private college in Riverside, California. The university is known not only for its liberal arts education, but also its Mission Revival architecture, which was popular in the 1920s to 1930s. Some of the university’s oldest buildings were constructed during this time period, and more recent construction on-campus has followed in this style. To complement the unique architecture, the landscape features a plant palette native to the Riverside area. By using plant material acclimated to the semi-arid climate, the landscape has the added benefit of requiring less water, which supports the university’s sustainability efforts.
