General Comments: Project completed on time. Project netted contingency savings credited back to owner without any cost adds to GMP budget. The success of the project was rooted in a very good collaborative team effort supported by a very engaged, proactive, and supportive owner team.
Challenging Portions of this Project: Logistics/confinement of the site provided to be extremely challenging with access to site confined to the end of cul-de-sac. The project only had one entrance frontage limiting all material and equipment access to a very small 60’ frontage. This logistical challenge was further challenged when the cul-de-sac suffered failures requiring full replacement. BSB coordinated the street replacement while maintaining project schedule and limiting impacts on neighboring business activities.
Green/Sustainable Features of this Project: obtained Build It Green certification, score of 146
BSB worked with the team to upgrade all Garage lighting from Florescent to LED lighting. All garage lighting was upgraded to LED fixtures including dimming ballasts and motion sensing controls to limit energy consumption for all garage lighting
