Scope Of Work
Bernards implemented the rebuild and restoration of the 5-star El Encanto Hotel and Garden Villas, the City of Santa Barbara’s oldest existing hotel. The project included two new underground parking lots, a spa and fitness center, and a zero-edge pool on a 7-acre site accommodating 92 keys.
This project included the demolition of the original main structure which dates to 1918. A replica buildinghas been constructed to replace the original. The team worked meticulously with Santa Barbara’s Historic Landmarks Commission to ensure that the main footprint of the hotel remained true to its original design.
